The Perfect Plan

Futuristic Pencil and Sharpener

“Psst. Pssstt…”
“He’s gone?” asked the rubber. “Yeah. Probably to get another one since I refused to let him sharpen that ugly stick over there”, answered the sharpener. “You know this plan won’t work without me right? So enough with the hate”, remarked the pencil. “You don’t tell a guy who gets screwed by you every 10 minutes”, said the sharpener.

“Quick!” the scale shouted. The rubber laid down on the table and the scale climbed over him horizontally. The sharpener jumped over one side of the scale, lifting the other end. The pencil hit the opposite side hard sending the sharpener flying in the air. It landed right behind the window. The tiny mechanics of the advanced auto sharpener gave way to a pair of miniature binoculars. “I’ve got it covered”, shouted the sharpener. “Let’s begin with the operation.”

“His dad made a transaction on this computer on 20th January 2042 which was two days back”, said the pencil. “Do you think we can hack the password after 48 hours?” she asked to the scale. “No matter how much secure networks or gadgets they build, they are forgetting one thing my dear. With all the technological advancements, they are empowering us further more”, he replied while some random keys emerged on his surface replacing the auto changeable unit systems over it. “Let us see”, said the pencil with a humorous tone as she projected a beam of light through a tiny hole present on her head. “I see three possible combinations of keys. I can’t make out. I told you it was too late. There are dust particles and more fingerprints. I am also unable to decide the order in which the keys were pressed”, said the pencil.

The keys that had emerged on the scale started typing automatically and a faint screen with some codes started running in the middle of his body.

“Guys! His dad has returned from office just now. He seems to be in a hurry. Probably someone has informed him about us. Hurry!” blurted out the sharpener.

“The second one shouted the scale. The order is ‘D3ST!NY’. This guy talks a lot about destiny as stored in my database. This should be the one”, he rushed words out of his mouth. The rubber took no time in jumping upon the desired keys. “It could be any moment now”, said the sharpener in fear.

The door banged open. He rushed inside and the scene was scary for him. He grabbed the pencil and broke it into half. He crushed the scale but till the time he could acknowledge the rubber, the rubber had jumped on the last key. The screen displayed the message that $1 million were transferred from his account to an overseas account.

Scary future scenario! Seems like advanced auto-programmed items causing havoc like transferring 1 million!
Great imagination, Anmol :)

OMG- While reading your post, I got the feel of watching a Morgan Freeman movie. Brilliant to have brought in the monetary angle to it. Leaves with an eerie feeling at the end...
