Love without a Closure

Love without a Closure

The ceremony was done and now they were posing for the photographs that will soon find a way into their marriage’s photo album. Angels would definitely envy her for how beautiful she looked in her wedding gown.

I saw her smiling from a hidden corner where no one could see me crying; crying for the fact that she could not be mine. A moment that was defining her beautiful life ahead was defining the worst that could happen to me.

People say that some love stories are not meant to find a closure however they omit the fact that the pain can be worse than death.

Interesting piece. It begs to wonder, who would invite a lover scorned to their wedding - unless the forsaken never revealed their feelings.

Evocative piece, telling a tragic story for one, while the other remains oblivious in five sentences.
