Deep down the abyss where no emotion can even touch my soul, my heart is lying at peace bleeding slowly but surely. Emotions are something it won’t be able to handle, peace is maintained for the reason that she is happy and the bleeding is because it is hurt.
Probably it will die before I know it for the qualm that has been inflicted is going to eat it from the inside out but the tranquility on my face is evident in the smile I bear for the world. They say I’m an amazing person who knows how to stand tall against any situation and who can always put a smile on your face but the dark void inside the mask I wear is only visible to me.
It’s not as easy as it sounds coz you know that one day, your heart will bleed out and then your soul will render itself hollow wiping out the smile that you had been faking and that will be the end of the person who was real only for the world.
